# Audiense Insights functionalities

Identify, understand, and activate the audiences that matter most to you. **Audiense Insights** empowers you to utilise social data to gain a deeper understanding of your most valuable audience segments, old and new, intelligently.

##### Functionalities

#### **What are the Ads & Media insights Audiense provides?**

Our manually curated media categorization of affinities includes the top Radio, Newspapers, Magazines, Events, Places, Online, Web & digital content, Online Shows (youtubers, twitchers, etc), and Apps. In the Social & Display Ads section, you will find our connections with Advertising platforms, and our Targeting pack which enables you to easily use our insights for advertising criteria, Twitter custom audiences, and our connections with DSPs (Beta).

Each channel tab will show a number of cards with a percentage. The percentage reflects the audience's affinity with that brand/media source. These cards are ordered by uniqueness.

#### **Activation via Targeting Pack**

The Targeting Pack is an Excel file containing tabs with a selection of the data to help you target your audience over different platforms. It will provide you with the segmented and unique affinities to plug them into advertising platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Google Ad Network and DSPs.

Simply copy the data from the targeting pack and paste it into the targeting options of the platforms of your choice. For example, Facebook allows you to add criteria under 'Create Saved Audiences', where you can use the relevant segment affinities, and create lookalikes to extend your reach.

#### **Activation via DSP (Beta)**

This is a semi-automatic service for which you can connect any segment or audience to an addressable audience with a DSP such as The Trade Desk, Google DV 360, Avocet, etc. based on contextual targeting.
